The Tiverton High School Mock Trial Team secured a victory over Moses Brown in the state tournament to reach the Final Four for the second time in three years.
Brendan Sowa, Maeve McHugh, and Brooke Sowa served as the attorneys for the prosecution, and Aiden Sweeney, Olivia Manning, and Morgan Pontagarca served as witnesses. Courtnie Smith was the team’s rules expert.
Judge Stephen Minicucci presided over the trial.
Tiverton High School advances to the Rhode Island state semi-finals on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Rhode Island’s Federal District Court before the Honorable Mary McElroy.
