Tuesday, November 8: No School – Election Day
Thursday, November 10: 3:45 pm Pocasset PTO Meeting – if nice we’ll be outside at the playground and if not then we’ll meet in the library. Please enter directly in the library exterior door.
Friday, November 11: No School – Veteran’s Day
Attendance Letters: Since we are now in the third month of school, I will be sending home attendance letters this week to students who have missed 8 or more days of school this year. While I understand a small handful of Pocasset students have been ill, the majority of students who are accumulating high absences are going on family trips or vacations. At Pocasset this year, we are seeing a direct correlation between students who have high absences and struggling in reading and/or math. Thank you for working with us on attendance.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: November 21 and 22. A separate email went out with sign up information.
