Spyware and Adware

 Spyware is software that can track personal information from your computer without the user even knowing.  It can be a part of a virus or Trojan.  It can even be on another software or application for advertisement purposes.  Adware can also be a problem on your computer.  It is sponsored software that is can also be connected to a main program, which contains registry keys and cookies.  Like spyware, adware will track personal information for advertising purposes.  Unfortunately, uninstalling the original program will not delete the registry keys or cookies.  However, you can install a program that will keep you safe from adware or spyware.  Some examples are listed below.
