Make this
your goal…

Step
One: First you want
to open Adobe Photoshop and open a new image. Make it 400 x 400, also check off
transparent then Ok. Next go Edit>
Fill and click on
Black. This will set the background all black.
Step
Two: Next choose
the text icon and choose a bold text and write a word in white lettering. I
chose the Impact text and I made it 80pt. I chose to write “N-Sane”. (As Shown Below)

Step
Three: Next go Layer>
Rasterize> Type (As
Shown Below)

Step
Four: Duplicate layer “Text” and rename the duplicate “Text 2.” Hide layer “Text 2” by clicking on
the eye to
the left of it on
the layers panel.
Step
Five: Next click on
the “Text” frame and then go to Layer> Merge Visible. (As Shown Below)

Step Six: Go Edit > Transform > 90 CW.
Go Filter >Stylize >
Wind
With the method “Wind” and the Direction “From the
Right.” Press Ctrl-F.
Now, go Filter >Stylize > Wind except this time, use the Direction “From the
Left.” Press Ctrl-F
Step Seven: Go Edit>Transform > 90 CCW. Repeat step 6
except DO NOT press Ctrl-F.
Step Eight: Go Filter > Distort > Ripple
Step Nine: Go Image > Adjustments >
Hue/Saturation to change the color (only
do this step if you don’t want this more than black and white).
Step Ten: Next Select the “Text 2” frame and
select the text and go Select>Modify>Contract and contract the selection by 2
pixels. Next after that just fill the selection with black and you’re done.
