File Types and Exporting

As in dealing with Photoshop images, there are two formats one must work with in flash,
The two types are:

•  the .fla extension for the flash document.  This is the editable file
• the .swf extension for the flash movie.  This is the viewable file

The document file is saved by going to File>Save As

The movie file is saved by going to File>Export>Export Movie shown below
This type of file is easily Imported into a Dreamweaver file by using the Insert>Media>Flash command
