GRAPHIC DESIGN COMPUTER TECH. & WEB DEVELOPMENT

Chapter 6

 

1.      Go to Window>Library

a.       Open the word document “Flash definitions”

b.      List the four types of symbols.

c.       Define the purpose of the library

 

2.      Page 82 - Import a piece of clip art. Go to Insert>Convert to Symbol.  Name te symbol and check to see it in the library window.  Save as FlashCh6a.

3.      Page 84 – Create a button. Open the Library by clicking Window>Library.  Click the New Symbol Icon.  In the “Create a new symbol” dialogue box choose Button.
Save as FlashCh6b. Close flash.

4.      Open FlashCh6b. Double click on your symbol in the library.  Follow the directions on pages 86-88 to alter your symbol

 

Chapter 7

1.      Select File>Import from the Menu bar.  Locate and Import a bitmap.

2.      Follow the Directions on Page 92 to view the Bitmap Properties Dialogue Box.
Save as FlashCh7a

3.      Page 93 - Import a new bitmap. Select Modify>Break Apart.  Draw an object on the stage.  Select the Dropper tool.  Click on the broke apart bitmap. Place the tool over the symbol it will change to a Paint Bucket and click.
