Chapter -4
1.
Draw several
ovals, circles and rectangles. Use the arrow tool to select a section of your
stage drawings and edit them with the Paint
Bucket and Ink Bottle. Save It as FlashCh4a.
2.
Use the File>Import Command to Import some Clip
Art. Experiment with the Lasso Tool and Polygon Tool.
3.
Draw two objects.
Use the Arrow Tool to select both of
them. Go to Modify>Group and Group the two objects together. Double click
the Group icon shown in the picture at the bottom of page 51 to edit the
objects. Save as FlashCh4b.
4.
Demonstrate how
to use the Free Transform Tool. Draw several Squares and demonstrate Resi

Draw several
Pictures. Go to Windows>Align. When the Align dialogue box appears use it to
align the various shapes on the stage. Save it as FlashCh5c.
6.
Demonstrate Pixel
Snapping. Go to View>Grid>Show Grid. Go to View>Snap to Pixel. Draw
a Square and move it to different positions.
7.
Import two Pieces
of clipart. Arrange them so they overlap.
Use Modify>Arrange to change the
Order. Save as FlashCh5d.
8.
Draw 4 objects on
a stage. Demonstrate Cut-Aways with overlaps one and demonstrate Cut-Aways with lines on the other. Save as FlashCh5e
Chapter 5
1.
Using the Color Swatch Panel Shown on page 62
draw an object with the linier gradient fill and another with the radial
gradient fill. Save it as FlashCh5a
2.
Using the Color
mixer panel make up 3 custom gradients and draw three objects using each. Use the Fill
Transform Tool to and change the shape on one of them. Save them as FlashCh5b.
3.
Open a new window
by using File>New. Add text to
assignment. Demonstrate different formatting styles using the Property
inspector. Use the free transform tool to rotate text. Use the Modify>Break
Apart command to reshape text.
