Open flash and create a simple Motion Tween
Insert a new Layer

Right Click on the Layer and Select Guide

Select the Motion guide layer, Using the Pencil tool draw a simple path.

 
Return to the Motion Tween layer.

Select the first Keyframe

Drag the symbol to the beginning of the motion guide.  A target will appear in the center of the symbol

Choose the last keyframe

Drag the symbol and lock it to the end of the motion guide,
