Cellular Phones

       Cellular phone and electronic devices (I-Pods, MP3 Players, Handheld video games, etc.) use is not allowed during the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  These items will be confiscated, and parents will be required to retrieve the cell phone from the Main Office.  Cell phone usage is permitted after school in the commons and lobby areas. Students should come to the main office if an emergency requires contact with home, and a phone will be made available for their use.  Parents are asked not to contact their children on their cell phones during school hours. 

         The use of the cell phone to take pictures is prohibited.  Students taking pictures with cell phones could be subject to suspension at the discretion of administration.

         A reminder, use of telephones for illegal purposes or misuse of the 911 system is punishable under the school discipline code and the law.
