Letter from the Principal

Dear Parent/Guardian:

This student handbook has been prepared to answer questions that you may have regarding your child’s education at Tiverton High School. I ask that you take a few minutes and review our behavioral and academic expectations.  Your encouragement and support are extremely important for your son or daughter’s success.  If “we” can work together as an “educational community,” then we will be better able to provide a supportive learning environment where every child can better meet their academic and extra-curricular potential.  Parents of grade nine students are requested to sign school agendas once they have received them.

To the Students of Tiverton High School:

On behalf of the faculty and administration, we would like to welcome you to Tiverton High School.  We are looking forward to assisting you in fulfilling your educational and career goals.  Please use this handbook on a daily basis to learn more about your school, to plan your day, and to keep track of your assignments.  Your teachers will expect you to bring this planner to class daily.  This handbook represents the commitment and dedication that the community of Tiverton has in assisting you to become a more organized and successful student.  Please take advantage of every opportunity to learn and improve yourself as an individual.  Together we can succeed.
