DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS OF COURSES

Advanced Placement courses are designed to allow students to learn material at a college level.

Students who are enrolled in these courses will be given an opportunity to earn college credit.

Honors courses offer in-depth study of subject matter on a highly competitive level.

These are some of the most challenging courses in the curriculum.

Preparatory courses offer a comprehensive study of the subject matter.  They are college preparatory in nature.

General courses offer a basic study of the subject matter at a less difficult academic level than the preparatory courses.
