Mock Trial is a group
of students who participate in reenacting the Rhode Island Judicial System.
The students are presented with a case, and must devise effective legal
strategies to win. They meet two to three times a week, the times
vary.
This T.H.S. Team,
has had a remarkable record of success the past years. Among their
accomplishments are:
2007-2008 : #1 in the state for
public schools and #3 for all schools!
2002 -Reached state semi finals.
2001 - Reached the state finals,
finishing second in the state.
2000 - Won the state and regional competitions.
Qualified for the National Finals,
finishing 19th in the COUNTRY!
1999 - Won the state and regional competitions.
Qualified for the National Finals,
finishing 30th in the COUNTRY!
