Dedication to Robert Turgeon

"Bobby Turgeon" as most people knew him, was an outstanding athlete beginning in the Tiverton Little League and the Tiverton Junior Basketball League. Upon entering Tiverton High School, Bob continued to participate in the area of sports while being an outstanding scholar.

Eventually, Bob would play and be captain of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He was a member of the graduating class of 1974,

and the high gymnasium was dedicated to his memory as an athlete and a sportsman on February 6^th 1979. Tiverton High School annually presents its Robert Turgeon Sportsmanship Award to those students that most exemplify the profile of Bob.
