Homework / Makeup / Grading Policies

Homework

You can expect to get homework at the teachers’ discretion. Homework will count for between 2-5% of your term grades. Homework will be due on the day after it is assigned and will be considered late after one day. It will not be accepted after that.

Make-ups

If you miss class for any reason, you are still responsible for any work missed. Upon your return, you must ask your teacher for any missed assignments – you will have one (1) week to complete your work.

After-School Help

All Tech Ed teachers will be available one day after school for extra help each week. You must notify your teacher one day in advance if this is needed. Each Tech Ed teacher will post their make-up day(s) in their classrooms.

Grading

Notebook: 2-5%

Homework: 2-5%

Classroom work/projects/tests: 90-98%

Final Exam

Tech Ed 700 HANDS-ON DEMONSTRATION – 50% of grade

+ Grade 10: WRITTEN TEST – 50% of grade

All Others: Written Test – 100% of final exam grade
