Text Box: Clothing Needed
Ranger School is in need of pants or shirts to let children wear if they have an accident at school or get wet playing outside during recess.  Sizes ranging from size 6 to size 10 are needed. Sweat pants and t-shirts are best so a boy or girl can wear them.  If you have any sweat pants, pants, or t-shirts in good condition that you would like to donate to the school, please drop them off in the Nurse’s Office. We are also accepting slightly used mittens or gloves for recess for the children who forgot theirs at home. No hats please. Thank you for your help.

All grade 3 students in the school system received dictionaries from the Nannaquackit Grange. Grange officials, John and Jeannette Kenyon, spearheaded the effort and made the presentations to students. Thanks to all Grange members for their efforts to assist our students.

Text Box: Outdoor Recess
We have found that our students perform best on days when they have the opportunity to go out for recess. As such, we go out whenever possible. There are several factors that do prohibit this. One is the temperature. We do not go out when it is below 22 degrees. Wind Chill is also factored as well as the condition of the schoolyard. . Accordingly, parents are urged to continue sending students with gloves, hats, etc. to insure that they are properly dressed.
All  students have two 15 minute recess periods each day. On inclement days the recesses are held in classrooms.
Note: We can always use extra winter coats for students who occasionally comes with only sweatshirts. Please send in or drop of coats you no longer have a use for.
