Title: TRANSFER OF FUNDS AUTHORITY

In keeping with the need of periodic reconciliation of the district's

budget, the Superintendent shall make recommendations of transfers of

funds to the School Committee.

The School Committee shall authorize the transfer of funds as follows:

1. Transfer among accounts within a specific line account may only be

authorized by the School Committee. Said transfer shall be approved

prior to the issuance of purchase orders or expenditure of funds.

2. Transfer from one line account to another program shall require Board

approval. Said transfer shall be in the form of a resolution at a public

meeting prior to the issuance of purchase orders or expenditure of

funds.
