Title: APPROVAL OF GRANTS:

It is the policy of the Tiverton School Committee to encourage the

entire school department staff to seek out alternative funding methods to

improve the education system. Requests for funds through various grants

shall be submitted through the regular process - department heads,

principal, superintendent, curriculum coordinator etc. Before grants are

submitted for funding, they shall be presented to the school committee

for approval at a regular board meeting. If time does not permit full board

approval, the board chairman shall act for the board.
