Title: ORIENTATION

Following each election and before the next regularly scheduled School Board meeting, an orientation workshop may be held for newly elected members, (with the Superintendent, Business Manager, and existing Board Members) providing adequate public notice has been given to comply with the open meeting requirements of state law.

During this meeting new members shall be given pertinent data that includes:

1. School Board Policies Book

2. Title 16 of the General Laws of the State of Rhode Island

3. The Annual Budget

4. Update Litigation Issures

5. Update Pending Grievances

6. Update Contract Issues
