Do you have plenty of time now that the holidays are over? Are you wondering what to do with yourself? The library could use your help!!!!! Due to the part time status of the librarian in each elementary school building, the current shelf list (a list of each book on the library shelves) has not been updated in years. What I would need is a person or group of people willing to take on the task of inventory and updating of the shelf list. I would train you and teach you how to do it and be available for questions on the days that I am in the building or by telephone on the days that I am not there. The shelf list is a vital piece of information that needs to be updated urgently. |
I am looking for a person or group of
volunteers who are interested in working on the days that I am not in the
library with students because the books need to be placed in order,
inventoried and reshelved. This is difficult to accomplish while the
students are there taking books off the shelves. If you would like to
help, or want more information before you decide, please contact me at the
library and I’ll be glad to talk you into it!
