What is a Personal Literacy Plan?

A Personal Literacy Plan (PLP) is a document that is developed by teachers for students who are reading below grade level.  A PLP provides information on assessment results, focus areas of instruction, and describes the role of the teacher, student, and family in increasing student achievement.
