Grade Level Literature Lists
For each grade level you will find a listing of the books that students may be reading throughout the year. It represents a variety of fiction and non-fiction books and articles that are used for instruction, to provide students with the decoding and comprehension strategies necessary to be successful with a variety of text.
Each grade level has selected
several "core" pieces of literature that will be read by all students
at a particular grade level. Common assessments will be used for
these texts, to assess student progress towards the state
